The debut album from Rebop sees Jorge Rossy (Brad Mehldau Trio, Steve Swallow, Lee Konitz) working with four rising stars of the European jazz scene in a collaborative, cooperatively-led quintet setting. With each band member contributing original material, a broad range of styles and influences are present, encompassing swinging post bop, reflective contemporary jazz, Brazilian music and the blues. This truly international quintet (with members currently based in based in Hamburg, Amsterdam, London, Basel and Barcelona) was formed in 2017. They have already toured in the UK, Germany and Spain, and plan to tour further across Europe soon.
